Boys and their Spears

There are so many adventures with my boys! And since they are growing older I feel the need to start writing down the "little" things in life that may slip my mind over the years.
My oldest son, Noah, will be 7 in a few short weeks! He is so much fun, makes us all laugh. He likes to joke like his daddy and he can be so witty at times. He decided that he wanted a spear, like the Indians. When I mentioned that his Papa Minica had arrowheads he could look at, he asked everyday to go and see them. When he and J.D., my 5 1/2 year old, finally got to go to their house, they were overjoyed when Papa Minica gave them each an arrowhead.
When they got home they begged their daddy to fashion the arrowhead on the end of their sticks they were already using for spears. Stu worked for over an hour carving down the sticks and wrapping the arrowheads in twine. The finished products were awesome! The boys were so happy and couldn't wait to get outside this morning and see what they could "hunt" with their new spears.

What fun for little boys... sticks and stone.
